PRIVACY POLICY

The Executive Edge Studio

The Executive Edge Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of our clients, prospective clients, website visitors, and the individuals whose information we may encounter while providing virtual business support services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information in connection with our website and services.

1. Services Covered

The Executive Edge Studio provides professional virtual business and executive support services, including website design and creation, website maintenance, social media management, email management, calendar management, travel planning and coordination, virtual executive assistance, administrative support, and related digital business services.

Because of the nature of these services, clients may authorize us to access accounts, systems, communications, schedules, documents, contact information, travel information, or other information necessary to perform the services they request.

2. Information We May Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, business or company name, email address, telephone number, billing information, project information, business preferences, and information submitted through website forms, email, telephone, or other communications.

When necessary to perform contracted services, clients may also provide or authorize access to business accounts and information such as website platforms, social media accounts, email accounts, calendars, contact lists, scheduling information, travel itineraries, business documents, files, photographs, marketing materials, and other information reasonably necessary to complete the requested work.

We may also receive technical information associated with visits to our website, such as device type, browser information, IP address, referring pages, website activity, and similar analytics information when these technologies are enabled.

3. How We Use Information

Information may be used to provide and manage our services; communicate with clients and prospective clients; design, update, and maintain websites; manage authorized social media accounts; perform authorized email and calendar management; coordinate travel arrangements; provide administrative and executive-assistant services; prepare invoices and maintain business records; respond to inquiries and support requests; improve our website and services; prevent fraud or misuse; protect our business, clients, and systems; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not access a client’s accounts or information for purposes unrelated to the services the client has authorized us to perform.

4. Client Account Access and Confidentiality

Certain services may require a client to grant The Executive Edge Studio access to third-party accounts or platforms.

Any access provided by a client is intended solely for performing the services authorized by that client. We will make reasonable efforts to limit access and use of client information to what is necessary to complete the requested work.

We treat non-public client business information and communications as confidential and do not intentionally disclose them to unrelated third parties except as necessary to perform authorized services, when directed by the client, or when required by law.

Clients should use secure account-sharing methods whenever available rather than sending sensitive passwords through ordinary email or text messages.

5. Passwords and Account Credentials

When account access is required, we encourage clients to use platform-specific permissions, collaborator access, delegated access, password managers, or other secure access methods whenever available.

Clients remain responsible for maintaining ownership and ultimate control of their accounts and for removing or changing access credentials when our services end when appropriate.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We may use third-party platforms and service providers to operate our business and provide client services, including website-hosting platforms, email providers, scheduling systems, social-media platforms, cloud-storage services, payment processors, analytics providers, travel-booking services, and other business software.

Information processed through those services may also be governed by the privacy policies and terms of the applicable provider.

We do not control the privacy practices of third-party websites or platforms.

7. Travel Management

When a client requests travel-planning or coordination services, we may receive information necessary to research or arrange transportation, accommodations, reservations, schedules, and related travel services.

Clients should avoid providing sensitive identification or financial information unless it is actually required for the requested service and an appropriate secure method of transmission has been established.

8. Payment Information

We may collect information necessary to invoice clients and record payments.

When payments are processed through third-party payment services, those providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and security practices.

The Executive Edge Studio does not intentionally retain complete credit-card numbers unless necessary and appropriately secured.

9. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to operate website features, understand website traffic, remember preferences, improve website performance, and measure marketing effectiveness.

Visitors may be able to control certain cookies through their browser or device settings.

If we introduce additional advertising, analytics, tracking, or marketing technologies, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.

10. How Information May Be Shared

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our business or perform services requested by a client. For example, information may need to be entered into a website platform, scheduling service, travel provider, or other service selected or authorized by the client.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process; protect our rights, property, systems, clients, or others; investigate suspected fraud or security issues; or complete a business transfer or similar transaction as permitted by law.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information in our possession from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no internet transmission, electronic communication, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The FTC recommends that businesses limit the personal information they retain, restrict access to people who need it, protect stored information, and securely dispose of information that is no longer necessary.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal and business information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain appropriate business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy legal obligations.

Client account access may be removed after services are completed or the client relationship ends when continued access is no longer necessary.

13. Email Communications

If you contact us by email or submit an inquiry through our website, we may use the information you provide to respond to your request and communicate regarding our services.

If we offer promotional email communications, recipients may request to stop receiving those marketing communications. Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent when necessary for an active client relationship.

14. Social Media

Interactions with The Executive Edge Studio through social-media platforms may be subject to the privacy practices and terms of those platforms.

When managing a client’s social-media presence, we use access granted by the client only for authorized services.

15. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults seeking professional business-support services and are not directed toward children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as appropriate.

16. Your Privacy Requests

You may contact us to request that we update or correct certain personal information we maintain about you or to request deletion of information when appropriate.

Certain information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, contractual, security, or legitimate business purposes.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or applicable requirements.

When changes are made, the revised policy will be posted with an updated effective date.
